Samantha Wentz, BSN, RN

I am employed with the Lake Region District Health Unit and am currently providing Rugby Public Schools with school nurse services 2.5 days a week. I have been a nurse for the past 17 years and have been involved with school nursing for the past 4 years.

Kate Gartner, BSN, RN, NCSN

I have been a nurse for over 20 years, all pediatric related. I have been with the Bismarck Public School district for seven years. My husband and I live in Bismarck with our two rescue dogs and have two adult children who are both in education.
Secretary
Carly Ostenrude, BSN, RN
My name is Carly Ostenrude, and I am the director of nursing at Walsh County Health District in Grafton, ND. I am the county school nurse for the schools of Minto, Grafton, Park River, Fordville-Lankin, and Valley-Edinburg High School. I live in Hoople with my husband and 2 kids – Lilly (5) and Max (2). I am excited to be part of NDSNO!

Krista Heen, BSN, RN

I grew up in Williston and graduated from Williston High School in 1992. I attended the University of Mary in Bismarck and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
My nursing career has included the areas of: medical/surgical; adult oncology; acute and chronic care of dialysis patients both inpatient and outpatient and now school nursing in the Alexander Public School System since 2015.
I live with my four children and husband outside of Alexander. Jack is 22 years old, Maxwell is a senior, Williston is a sophomore and Claire is in 7th grade.

Kelli Kuether, BSN, RN

I grew up in Bismarck, ND and obtained my nursing degree from NDSU in Fargo, ND. I have been a nurse for 14 years. I have worked in the NICU and pediatric clinic. I have been a school nurse at Bismarck Public Schools for the last 2 years working in the middle and high school. I live in Bismarck with my husband and 3 kids - Harper (9), Lincoln (7), & Niklynn (3).
